From the period of Aug. 21-28, the Rimbey RCMP responded to 27 calls for service.
In criminal-code matters, officers responded to three thefts, three mischief calls, one sexual interference, one human trafficking call, one firearm offence and one vehicle theft. They also responded to one call of a person failing to remain at an accident scene, one defamatory libel call, one trespass call and one disturbance call.
On the roadways, officers responded to two traffic collisions, two suspicious persons or vehicles, two traffic violations and one animal call.
In matters routine to policing, but which fall outside traffic or criminal-code, officers responded to two Fire Prevention Act calls, one sudden death, one false alarm, one lost and found item and one call assisting another agency.
