From Sept. 11-18, officers with the Rimbey RCMP responded to 31 calls for service.

From Sept. 11-18, officers with the Rimbey RCMP responded to 31 calls for service.

On the roadways, officers responded to three traffic violations, one dangerous operation of a vehicle, one traffic collision, one animal collision, one call relating to the Off-Road Vehicle Act and one animal call. They also responded to five suspicious persons or vehicles.

In criminal-code matters, officers responded to three thefts, one sexual assault, one break-and-enter, one mischief, one disturbance, one stolen property call, one fraud and one careless use of a firearm.

Officers also responded to one call relating to the Firearms Act, one call relating to the Child Welfare Act, one call relating to the Mental Health Act, one call on disobeying the court order and one other provincial/territorial statute call.

In matters routine to policing, but which fall outside traffic or criminal-code, officers responded to two well-being checks, one call relating to the Mental Health Act and one lost and found item.
