Officers responded to 53 calls for service from Oct. 2-9.

Between Oct. 2-9, Rimbey RCMP officers responded to 53 calls for service.

Of these calls, the highest was on the roadways, with 19 traffic violations. Also on the roadways, officers responded to two animal calls, one traffic collision, one suspicious person or vehicle and one abandoned vehicle. They also responded to one call having to do with the Off-Road Vehicle Act.

In criminal-code matters, officers responded to three thefts, three mischief calls, two assaults, one fraud, one vehicle theft and one impaired driver.

Officers also responded to two disturbances, two calls relating to the 911 Act, two other provincial statutes calls, one call assisting another agency, one call about an abandoned vehicle, one failure to comply with an order, one call relating to the Trespass Act, one call relating to the Firearms Act, one call relating to the Fire Prevention Act and three calls relating to the Mental Health Act.

In matters routine to policing, but which fall outside traffic or criminal-code, officers responded to one sudden death, one missing person and one lost and found item.
