From Nov. 20-27, officers with the Rimbey RCMP responded to 40 calls for service.
On the roadways officers responded to six traffic violations, two traffic collisions, three animal collisions, three animal-related calls and one abandoned vehicle. They also responded to four suspicious persons or vehicles.
In criminal-code matters, officers responded to one assault, one human trafficking call, one vehicle theft, one theft, one mischief call, one harassment call, one uttered threats call and one fraud.
In matters routine to policing, but which fall outside traffic or criminal-code, officers responded to two well-being checks, two assistance calls to the general public, two calls pertaining to the 911 Act, one lost and found item, one false alarm, one call assisting another agency, one call relating to the Mental Health Act, one call relating to the Fire Prevention Act and one call relating to the Family Orders and Agreements Enforcement Assistance Act.
