Rimbey RCMP responded to 33 calls for service between Jan. 22-29, with the highest being animal-involved collisions at six.
Also taking place on the roadways, officers responded to four traffic violations, three traffic collisions, three animal-related calls and one abandoned vehicle. They also responded to three suspicious persons or vehicles.
In criminal-code matters, officers responded to, one assault, one theft, one mischief and one arson to a motor vehicle.
For general policing matters not falling under traffic or criminal code, officers responded to two uttering threat calls, one missing person call, one well-being check, one lost and found item, one assistance to the general public, one call assisting another agency, one call disobeying a court order and one call relating to another provincial or territorial statute.
