Suspect wanted for several thefts at Tim Horton's in Alberta and Saskatchewan arrested

Between June and October of 2024, reports of break and enters into Tim Horton’s were reported to 12 Alberta locations including one in Stettler and two in Wetaskiwin

Following a five-month long investigation a man suspected of over a dozen break-and-enters at Tim Horton's restaurants across Alberta and Saskatchewan has been arrested. 

Joshua Elliot Moose, 25, a resident of Medicine Hat, was taken into custody on Oct. 31. He had allegedly just committed another break and enter when he was arrested outside a hotel in White City, Sask.

Between June and October 2024, break and enters into Tim Horton’s were reported at 12 Alberta locations including, Brooks, High River, Hanna, Vermilion, Rocky Mountain House, Rocky View County, Strathmore, Drayton Valley, Didsbury, Stettler, and two in Wetaskiwin.

There were also five Saskatchewan locations including Maple Creek, Kindersley, Swift Current, Saskatoon and Indian Head.

The investigation determined Moose was currently in White City. 

When a search warrant was executed on the suspect's hotel room,vehicle and apartment in Medicine Hat, police seized a quantity of cash, tools, and firearms.

Moose has been charged with seven offences in Saskatchewan for break and enter to commit theft and possession of break in tools.

Thirty-one charges were laid in Alberta for break and enter to commit theft, possession of break in tools, and unsafe storage of a firearm.

Moose was remanded to appear in Saskatchewan Court of Justice in Regina on Nov. 6, 2024.
