Dear Editor,
I always read the letters to the editor, and sometimes I even consider writing in myself. Mr. Ritter's article really said it all for me. We moved here 3 years ago from Sylvan Lake where they have a nice indoor pool. I bought a pass and went swimming with my daughter 1-2 times per week. Imagine my disappointment when I found out that Rimbey only has an outdoor pool. I'm not a fan of freezing , so I won't go to an outdoor pool unless it's hot outside. So this means I have to drive to Ponoka or Red Deer if I want to go swimming. I wonder how many other families in this area would benefit from a YEAR ROUND pool. Surely the extra cost of an indoor pool would pay for itself over time, I know I would use it often!!!. Rimbey could certainly benefit from having another healthy place for our youth to hang out, maybe it could even help keep the graffitti and vandalism in check!!! Although that could just be wishful thinking too!!!
