Dear Editor:
Rimbey is such a caring and generous community. With our economy in its present condition, there were a large number of families in need of assistance.
I was astonished at the amount of support and commitment we received, and the volunteers came in droves. We had individuals who worked every day, we had large groups, small groups, people of all ages and businesses were sending over paid staff members.
We can’t thank or appreciate the quiet contributors who continued to fill our donation boxes enough or the volunteers who put together the Community Christmas so nobody had to be alone on Dec. 25.
The love, commitment and compassion shown to put this all together warms my heart and I am truly proud to have been a part of it and to say I am from such a wonderful community.
