Submitter defends most doctors

Dear Editor:

In regards to the recent letters concerning the Rimbey doctors and hospital, yes, my wife had an unpleasant experience with a doctor, but only one.

Upon developing a shin splint, she was in terrible pain. The doctor felt her leg and made the remark that it “was not life-threatening, so have a nice day.” There was no offer of painkillers.

I was in the Rimbey Hospital with a bad case of pneumonia. Had it not been for the competent doctor and the excellent staff of nurses, it is quite possible that I would not be here to write this letter.

It is unfair to paint all with the same brush, however there is one doctor that we would refuse to see.
