Submitter urges public to check Town of Rimbey’s work

Dear Editor, Recently our family had the misfortune of losing a brother. He was buried in the West Haven Cemetery. His burial took place on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday at 6:00 p.m., I received a phone call telling me that the ground work had not been completed by the Town of Rimbey. That meant that the gravesite was still open and both gates were still unlocked and open.

Dear Editor,

Recently our family had the misfortune of losing a brother.

Much damage could have occurred to the whole graveyard or somebody could have been hurt if they had fallen into the hole. If we hadn’t received the phone call, the Town of Rimbey would not have attended to the job that day and who knows when.

We are not writing this letter for sympathy, but rather to make people aware to check the Town of Rimbey completes their job to fill in your loved one’s grave.
