Due to maintenance required on the Breton RCMP detachment facilities, all operations and front counter services have relocated to the Thorsby RCMP detachment, RCMP advise.
While maintenance is being completed, Breton detachment employees will be working out of the Thorsby detachment for the "foreseeable future," stated a press release.
"The temporary relocation will not cause an interruption or reduction of policing services in the communities served by the Breton detachment."
Front counter and administrative services, such as criminal record checks, police certificates, and vulnerable sector checks, will be provided at the Thorsby detachment.
