Central Alberta Quilters’ Guild looking forward to upcoming quilt show

Over the course of the weekend of May 10 and 11, at the Exhibition Hall at Red Deer’s Westerner Park, quilters from across Central Alberta will gather to have their work judged as well as indulge in the extensive market.

A number of special guest quilters will be present, including Roxanne Reorda (@roxiquilts) and Elizabeth Rusell (@lizrusselldesigns).

A unique trunk show will take place on both Friday and Saturday at 1:30 p.m. by Terry Rowland of Trow Studios.

A number of grand prizes are available from local business such as Red Deer Sewing Centre. Al’s Sewing Machine Repair and Sewing Arts Centre Ltd.

Chair of the Central Alberta Quilters’ Guild Quilt Show, Jody Read, stated the guild has members from all over Central Alberta and she is looking forward to seeing everyone’s work. She added the weekend is a “a one stop shop for quilters” of all kinds.
