RCMP responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision between an SUV and a semi truck on Thursday evening, Oct. 30 near Breton.
The call came in at 6:27 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene on Highway 22 near Township Road 454, EMS and fire were already there and the driver and lone occupant of white passenger SUV was deceased.
The deceased has been identified as a 42-year-old male resident of Edmonton. The male driver of the semi truck did not sustain any injuries.
RCMP say it's been determined the SUV crossed the centre line and struck the semi truck.
RCMP remained on scene for several hours investigating.
