Put your money on a lucky duck and you might come home a winner.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, the Rimbey Kinsmen Club will be hosting their second annual duck race and floating 500 rubber ducks down the Blindman River in the name of charity. The first duck across the finish line will be valued at $1,000, with prizes of $600, $400, $200 and $100, respectively, for second, third, fourth and fifth place. The very last duck to cross the finish line will be worth $300.

Allan Adam, a long-time member with the Kinsmen Club, said funds raised will be going towards the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Each ticket is $20 and is good for one duck.

Tickets can be purchased at Rimbey TV & Electronics, Rimbey Subway or Stationery, Stories and Sounds.
