My name is Roy Keessar and Rimbey has been my home for almost 45 years. I grew up on a farm just west of town and have continued to live in and around the area ever since. I am married to my wife RaeAnn and we have two children. Whitney is attending University in Edmonton and Morgan works at a local tire shop in Rimbey.

I have volunteered for a few different groups in Rimbey over the last 20 years. Most recently I have been involved with the Rimbey Lions, as I am currently a member and have been for nine years, three of those I was President.

I am currently President of Central Alberta Raceways and seeking a second term as well as the Founder of the Rimbey Falcons Pond Hockey. My wife and I started the pond hockey program nine yeas ago and I still coach at least one team each season.

I have been employed in the oilfield for the past 30 years. Currently I operate for Tamarack Valley in the area west of Rimbey. I am running for county council in Division 5 as I know quite a few people in the area and enjoy speaking to them. My goal is to get familiarized with policies and see what the job entails.

My promise to the constituents is to work hard for them, listen to the concerns of citizens and try to resolve the issues. I encourage everybody to come out and vote and I hope I gain your support.
