Shortly before 3 a.m. on Nov. 28, 2021, Breton and Thorsby RCMP received a report of a break and enter in progress to a bank on 50 street in Warburg, Alta.

Heavy duty equipment was used by suspects to ram the side of the building causing significant damage. Three suspects fled the scene and made off with an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency in a dark dually style pick-up truck.

Breton and Thorsby RCMP attended the scene to find the building significantly damaged and that the suspects had fled.

The investigation then turned to a nearby business from which the front end loader was stolen. The suspects had also forced entry into this building. RCMP Forensic Identification Section examined both scenes for evidence.

RCMP’s investigation identified the pick-up truck used to flee the scene as one that was reported stolen on Nov. 28, 2021 at approximately 8:30 a.m. in Warburg. The stolen pick-up truck is described as a black, 2007, Ford F350 dually with Alberta licence plate VBK19.

The first suspect is described as being a heavy set male, six-feet tall with wide thick shoulders. He is also described as wearing light brown bib style coveralls, a black sweater with the hood up, a dark hat with a possible headlamp, dark gloves, a light grey coloured face mask and having a light brown leather coloured skate board.

Suspect two is described as a 6-foot-tall male with a skinny build and wearing dark coloured boots, dark coloured pants, a black softshell jacket with white lettering on the left and right breast with the jacket hood up, wearing a mask and a blue latex glove on his right hand and a white glove with possible black logo on the back of his left hand.

The third suspect was not observed outside of the vehicle.

Breton RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance for any information in relation to this incident as they continue to investigate.
