The Parkin’ In The Park Show & Shine event is back at PasKaPoo Park on August 20, with funds going to the Rimbey Historical Society.
Attracting vintage cars from far and wide, this show and shine event will kick off with a pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the car registration will begin at 9 a.m.
For lunch, be sure to stop by the concession for hot dogs, hamburgers and fries, which will be available 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Parkin’ In The Park ran several years ago, and Cheryl Jones, administrator and curator for the historical society, hopes this event will bring in a crowd.
“It’s not pre-register, so we aren’t sure how many to expect, but it should be a good one,” Jones said, adding that the historical society will also be doing a 50/50 draw, with the draw happening after the judging at 2 p.m.
