Breton Thorsby RCMP are currently investigating a fatal collision on Highway 39 and Range Road 45. RCMP received a report of the serious collision on Thursday Dec. 8, at 1:22 a.m.
Upon arrival to the scene the drivers and lone occupants who were identified as a 41-year-old male resident of Red Deer and a 63-year-old male resident of Drayton Valley were deceased.
Police remained on scene for several hours while an RCMP collision analyst assisted with the investigation. The circumstances of the collision remains under investigation.
