Visitors can look forward to a full day of high-octane excitement across a variety of tracks. The action kicks off at 1 p.m. with drag racing, followed by fast-paced competition on the oval track at 2:30 p.m. After a mid-afternoon break to relax and connect with others at the event, the adrenaline returns at 4 p.m. as mud bogs and mega trucks tear through the course with roaring engines and flying dirt. Whether you're a hardcore motorsports fan or just looking for an unforgettable day out, there’s no shortage of thrills and entertainment.
“We’re having events on each side of the track and a big car show, so there’s something for everyone,” says Roy Keessar, President of Central Alberta Raceway. “It’s a great chance for people who might favour one part of the facility to see a little bit of everything.”
In addition to the main racing events, the grounds will feature a show-and-shine showcasing classic and custom vehicles, market vendors, food concessions and a beer garden to keep the good times rolling. It’s not just about racing – it’s about building community, celebrating local talent and creating an unforgettable entertainment experience.
“It’s going to be showcasing our facility – every part of it. It’s a great time for people to come and see what we’re all about," Keessar says, “we’re excited to show the public what each track has to offer – not just from a racer’s perspective, but from a spectator's point of view."
The event is supported by a host of generous sponsors, each contributing to make Carnival at CAR a must-attend event this season.
