Alberta’s vaccine lottery closes Sept. 23 and Albertan’s are encouraged to register online for a chance to win the last $1-million prize.

Alberta residents aged 18 and older have until 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 23 to receive their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine and register online for a chance to win the third draw.

“We know that vaccines offer our best protection against COVID-19, helping to prevent serious illness and deaths. By rolling up our sleeves and getting vaccinated, Albertans are helping to reduce the spread and protect our health system. Get vaccinated today to help keep each other safe,” says Jason Copping, Minister of Health.

Alberta has administered more than 5.8 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine and more than 1.9 million Albertans have entered Alberta’s vaccine lottery to date and those who have previously entered are automatically entered into the third draw.

In Alberta, 81.4 per cent of eligible Albertans are protected with at least one dose while 72.8 per cent are now fully vaccinated with two doses.

Visit bookvaccine.alberta.ca/vaccine/s/ to find available appointments with AHS or participating pharmacies across the province. There are select clinic locations across the province are also offering walk-in appointments for first doses.
