Athabasca RCMP arrests teacher for sexual exploitation

Former student alleges was sexually exploited

Athabasca RCMP arrested a teacher with sexual exploitation.

Charles Beamish, 38, is charged with sexual exploitation after allegations were made by a former student.

Beamish was released on his own recognizance and appears in Athabasca provincial court Jan. 14, 2019.

RCMP didn’t specify whether the victim was male or female.

Police ask anyone if they have any information on this incident, or any other incidents, to call the Athabasca RCMP at 780-675-4252.
