The Rimbey Review is pleased to announce the return of Rimbey’s Best of Rimbey & Area, Readers’ Choice Awards!
Here is your chance to encourage and get behind the outstanding services and businesses that make Rimbey and the surrounding area a terrific place to live, and to show your support for local businesses, eateries, organizations and services.
When you submit a business or service for a category, you will be entered to win $300 in Rimbey Bucks, sponsored by your local Rimbey and District Chamber of Commerce.
Daily voting will commence on Aug. 24 and a special print on Oct. 19 will feature the category winners for the Best of Rimbey & Area Readers’ Choice Awards 2021.
There are plenty of categories to vote for including Favourite Place for a First Date, Best Hidden Gem, Best Hair Salon and Best Customer Service among many others.
“We are really excited about our Best of Rimbey section,” says Leah Bousfield, publisher of the Rimbey Review.
“The Best of Rimbey & Area contest invites readers of our paper and website to honour the businesses and amenities that make Rimbey such a great place to live. Area residents are proud of our community and the section that results from this contest highlights that pride.”
Other categories in contention range from Best Place to Get Breakfast, Best Weekday Lunch and Best Cup of Coffee, to Favourite Place to Walk and Favourite Winter Activity.
The closing date for the contest voting is Sept. 21.
“This is a great opportunity to support our local businesses. Our community is defined by our small businesses,” says Bousfield.
Results will be published Oct. 19.
“I hope the results of this contest also give readers information about some of the unique things our great businesses and services have to offer. Hopefully it will encourage people to shop at a business that they may not have known much about previously.”
