Charity checkstop goes over well

Community shows great volunteer spirit

The Charity Checkstop fundraiser held in Rimbey last Wednesday was a huge success.

Many volunteers from Victim Services, Ponoka County West District Fire Department, Rimbey RCMP and Rimbey Citizens on Patrol participated and the drivers of most vehicles passing through were most generous.

It was a beautiful winter day and the volunteers did a great job of spreading holiday cheer.

Donations are to go to The Rimbey Food Bank.
