The Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce has cancelled the federal election forum that was set for Sept. 13.
According to the chamber’s Facebook page, only two candidates, Megan Lim the People’s Party of Canada candidate and Blaine Calkins the Conservative candidate both for the Red Deer-Lacombe riding confirmed attendance.
The Facebook post also mentioned that the agency is in the process of hiring a new executive director.
