Moose shot illegally in Wetaskiwin County

The incident occurred west of Battle Lake in the area of Range Road 24 and Highway 13, sometime between Dec. 28 and 31. It is believed that a moose was shot on the property, and a vehicle was then used to access the property to retrieve the animal, becoming stuck several times only a short distance from Highway 13.
