A Wainwright dentist has plans to expand his business by opening a practice in Rimbey early next year.
Derek Nordstrom plans to house his dental clinic in his new 12,500 square-foot building now under construction in Evergreen Estates. He said about one third of the building is to be used for the practice and the remaining space is available for lease.
He said he is looking forward to setting up his practice here.
“Rimbey is a wonderful town and my wife and I are excited to be part of the community.”
Nordstrom’s wife, Angela, grew up in the Rimbey area and the couple is pleased the business venture will put them and their nine-month-old son Truman closer to family.
Nordstrom foresees his practice, Nordstrom Dental, as making available three or four full time jobs upon opening with a potential for 10 or more at a later date.
“Rimbey is a great place to expand the business,” he said.
