The Rimbey Chamber of Commerce has a new executive.
Rory Swensen will take over as president and former president, Melvin Durand will take on the job of treasurer.
Durand, who held the position of president for three years said he enjoyed the experience and the opportunity.
Kim Short is now the chamber’s vice president and Felicity Cole is the secretary.
The board of directors is a mix of new and old faces.
The chamber will not hold a trade fair this year, due to the low attendance experienced last year.
Chamber meetings are held at 7:30 a.m. on the first Tuesday of every month at Canalta Hotel.
