With the threat of the COVID-19 virus hanging ominously over the world, churches in Rimbey are continuing to share the message of hope, faith and love.

Pastor Jeremy Willment said the doors of Rimbey New Life Fellowship are usually open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the church secretary is in the building on Tuesdays and Fridays.

“We are not holding services, but w are doing our best to stay connected while practicing social distancing.”

Willment said he is spreading the church is spreading message through facebook and U-tube as well as doing a great deal of phone ministry.

“The congregation is doing very well,” he said. “We have the faith that God is in control. My phone is very busy,”he added.

Pastor Jeremy said parishioners are on hand to assist others who need help getting groceries or prescriptions.

He noted that with seven children his family is used to buying in bulk, so stocking up on groceries is not a new thing to him.

Rimbey New Life Fellowship offers a pantry service to help the less fortunate.

Canned goods and packaged goods that are easy to wipe with disinfectant wipes are welcome. Also gift cards which can be used for fuel or other needs as well as groceries are also welcome.

New Life Fellowship can be reached at 403-843-3336.
