RIMBEY, AB (April 15, 2014) – After four years of hard work by former Ponoka County Councillor Gawney Hinkley, Keith Beebe, and current Rimbey councillor Jack Webb, MLA Joe Anglin was given confirmation that the lodge for Rimbey has been approved.

Minister of Municipal affairs Greg Weadick confirmed last Wednesday that the community of Rimbey and the Rimoka Housing Board received $13.3 million dollars for a new Seniors Lodge in Rimbey.

“A Wildrose government would have a prioritized infrastructure list and so we would have known and prepared for this important announcement,” Anglin said.
