The Rimbey 4-H Club is back on track for another fun year.

We had a busy summer by going to several farms and gathering tires for our tire recycling fundraiser. We appreciate the support from all the farmers and 4-H members who participated. We were able to raise much needed funds for our club and are proud to have helped clean up our environment.

We had loads of fun late in July at our Fun Day in Sylvan Lake.

In August we were on the cleanup crew following the FCSS Annual Golf Tournament.

On September 13 we had our organizational meeting and on October 4 we had our first meeting when elections took place for our new executive.

I am pleased to report that we have 27 members and 10 Cleavers.

This year our Cleavers are learning the new 4-H pledge and motto. They are also learning the correct way to feed, care for and groom a large animal.

On October 13 we weighed our 4-H beef projects at VJV Rimbey Auction Mart where the members tagged and dewormed their own calves. We appreciate VJV, Jemco Feeds and Kane Veterinary Supplies for your support to get us off to a good start.

This is Sierra Brand reporting for the Rimbey 4-H Club.
