The Rimbey and District Chamber of Commerce business awards that were to take place on Oct. 21 have been postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19 restrictions tightening up.
“Once again we are facing restrictions that limit what we are able to do,” reads a statement from the chamber’s business awards committee.
“We very much still want to have our Time to Shine event, but felt it was better to wait for the restrictions to relax a little again.”
At this time, there is no plan on when the awards might take place. Online voting was to begin on Sept. 15 but has been suspended.
