A packed house was on hand at the Seniors Drop-In Centre for the annual banquet and awards night for the Rimbey Fish and Game Association on March 13. In addition to an excellent meal, those in attendance had the opportunity to bid on a number of items in a silent auction as well as picking up a trophy or two. Winners on the evening in the junior categories included: Cody Jorgensen for best whitetail deer and whitefish, Jared Rurka for top walleye, Kessler Beierbach for top jackfish, Justin Zelasek for best rainbow trout and Danielle and Clayton Von Hollen for best junior photography. Winners in the senior categories included: Gary Schorlemer for best whitefish and typical whitetail deer, Manfred Cree for top pronghorn, Delbert Stevenson for best elk, Mark Groves for non-typical whitetail deer, Ed Jorgensen for moose, Shane Teist for trout and Sandra Von Hollen for senior photography. As well, Delbert Stevenson was also recognized for the top elk in interclub competition.
