Rimbey RCMP officers continue to remain busy

Rimbey RCMP members responded to 66 calls for service between Ayg. 17 and Aug. 24

Call volumes for the Rimbey RCMP detachment continues to remain steady.

In between Aug. 17 and 24 the officers of the detachment received 66 calls for service.

On the roads and highways, officers responded to three vehicle accidents, one involving wildlife, and one traffic ticket was handed out.

A total of eight suspicious persons or vehicles were also called in to the detachment to investigate.

Where it comes to more criminal matters, officers responded to two assaults, two cases of uttering threats, five cases mischief, two break-and-enters, one report of theft and three cases of possession of stolen property obtained by crime.

In addition, the RCMP officers also provided assistance to the general public eight times, dealt with five lost and found calls, conducted three well being checks, assisted with two mental health calls and responded to one sudden death.
