The officers in the Rimbey RCMP detachment had a busy week.

In between Oct. 27 to Nov. 3 officers responded to 47 calls for service in the region.

On the roads and highways surrounding the community, officers responded to three traffic collisions, two animal-involved traffic collisions, gave two traffic violation tickets, responded to six reports of suspicious vehicles or people and dealt with one impaired driver or failure to comply with mandatory alcohol screening.

In criminal matters, officers responded to six complaints of theft, one complaint of trespassing, one assault, one break-and-enter and two reports of mischief.

For other policing matters that do not fall under traffic or criminal, officers provided assistance to the public twice, dealt with two lost-and-found items, responded to three mental health calls and one sudden death.
