Rimbey RCMP repond to 29 calls last week

In the last week, Rimbey RCMP responded to 29 calls for service. These files include, but are not limited to: three theft occurrences, one assault investigation, one mental health related call, three break and enter reports, and four suspicious activity complaints.

On April 18th 2020 officers attended a break and enter to a seasonal property. It was reported that the break in would have occurred within the previous week. At the scene items were thrown around everywhere inside the home and the shop had been broken into as well. Many tools, alcohol, and clothing were stolen from the property.

Also on April 18th, 2020 another break and enter to a seasonal property was reported. At the scene of this break and enter there was extensive damage done to the home. At this time, it is unknown what items were stolen from this property.

On April 22, 2020 officers responded to a suspicious activity complaint. There was a young male and female walking in a back alley in Rimbey with suitcases and apparently acting strangely. Officers attended and the female was arrested on numerous outstanding warrants out of Banff, Stoney Plain, Rocky Mountain House, and Lethbridge. The female was held for a JIR hearing.
