From the period of Aug. 3 to Aug. 10, Rimbey RCMP were busy, responding to 52 calls for service.

Of those calls, mischief was the highest, with RCMP responding to eight. This was followed by seven calls related to suspicious persons or vehicles.

On the roadways, officers responded to one traffic collision, three animal-involved collisions and five traffic violations. They also responded to six calls of assistance to the general public.

For criminal code matters, officers responded to three calls of assault, three break-and-enters, two thefts and two calls of breaching or disturbing the peace.

For matters routine to policing, but not falling under Traffic or Criminal Code, officers assisted with six lost and found items and one well-being check.
