Rimbey RCMP officers responded to 51 calls for service between Aug. 10 and Aug. 17.
The highest number of calls were for traffic violations, with officers having issued nine. Also on the roadways, officers responded to two traffic collisions, two animal-involved collisions and six suspicious persons or vehicles. They also responded to one impaired driver.
In criminal code matters, officers responded to one assault, one call of someone uttering threats, three mischief calls, one break-and-enter, three theft, two calls of trespassing and one breaching or disturbing the peace.
For matters routine to policing, but not falling under Traffic or Criminal Code, officers responded to four animal calls, assisted the general public six times, responded to one lost and found item, one mental health call and one well-being check.
