In the last week, Rimbey RCMP responded to 41 calls for service. These files include, but are not limited to: two assault investigations, one criminal harassment file, two fraud investigations, two missing persons’ files, and six suspicious activity complaints.
On May 23rd, 2020 officers responded to a suspicious activity complaint where a vehicle was possibly being stripped in a parking lot. Upon arrival officers confirmed that the vehicle was not stolen. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of a male and female occupant in the vehicle as they were both found to be breaching conditions of release. They were both on conditions not to have contact or communication with the other. The male and female have both been charged with failing to comply with conditions and are to appear in Rimbey court on July 8th, 2020.
