Rimbey RCMP weekly update

RCMP stats for week of Nov. 24 to Dec. 1, 2022

The officers of the Rimbey RCMP detachment faced an uptick in calls during the latest statistics report.

Officers from Rimbey responded to 45 calls for service during the week of Nov. 24 to Dec. 1, with a significant jump occurring on the roads.

Animal-involved collisions marked the single biggest category the officers responded to during this period, with 10 in total. Officers also responded to one vehicle collision and issued three violation tickets.

In Criminal code matters, officers responded to five complaints of property-obtained-by-crime, three complaints of fraud, extortion or false pretences, and one mischief complaint.

For matters that don’t fall under traffic or criminal code, officers responded to five well-being checks and one mental health related call.
