The officers of the Rimbey RCMP detachment responded to 41 calls for service between Sept. 22 and 29.

On the highways and roadways, the members responded to one traffic collision, two other vehicle versus animal collisions, reports of one suspicious person or vehicle and issued one traffic violation.

In criminal matters, the officers were kept busy with over half of their total responses coming from this category.

The detachment officers responded to three counts of uttering threats, one complaint of mischief, three break and enter complaints, four counts of theft, one charge of possession of property obtained by crime, three complaints falling under the category of fraud, extortion or false pretense, one complaint under the trespass act, two breach of peace complaints, and three sexual related offences.

For non-criminal matters, the officers provided general assistance to the general public once, attended three mental health related calls, dealt with two reports of lost and found items and conducted one well-being check.
