Rimbey’s New Year’s Baby

New baby for Angus and Kristine McColm

Rimbey New Year’s baby arrived on Jan. 12 at 4:32 a.m. The baby is the daughter of Angus and Kristine McColm, who live near Bluffton.

The new arrival, Jocelynn Rose McColm, weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19 inches long.

We’re thankful to the Lord for our newest blesssing,” said the baby’s mother, Kristine.

Jocelynn is a little sister to three brothers; Jimmy, Jeremy and Jay and five sisters; Jael, Joy, Jo, Justine and Julie.

The baby’s mom said Jocelynn was the only one of her babies who was actually born on their due date. The family did not know the sex of the baby before she was born.

“Her brothers were disappointed she wasn’t a boy, but they love her to bits already.”
