Search for wanted man continues in rural area

Rimbey RCMP has received calls that a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breach of parole conditions has been seen.

Rimbey RCMP has received calls that a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breach of parole conditions has been seen in the remote rural area west of Rimbey.

Sgt. Mark Groves said Lloyd James Hall who is wanted on a number of warrants has been spotted in the Rimbey area. However, Groves said he is still at large.

Hall, 49, also goes by the name Lloyd Howel.

His warrants are related to vehicle thefts in Drayton Valley and Edson and being unlawfully at large in Red Deer.

The Caucasian male is six feet, two inches tall and weights 210 pounds. He has blonde hair and brown eyes.

He is not considered dangerous, but citizens are advised not to approach him.

Anyone who may have seen this individual is asked to contact 911 or Rimbey RCMP at 403-843- 2223.
