The Town of Rimbey has contracted a snow blower from a Ponoka company to help alleviate the heavy snow conditions.
Several roads which have been identified as first priority in which travel has been hampered due to narrow conditions due to excessive snow are being widened. The cost of the machine has pushed the snow removal budget higher than anticipated.
Snow is being removed to the snow storage area near the recycle building.
