Thurs., Mar. 19 – 5:57 p.m. – A complaint was received reporting the theft of a hot tub from the Bentley area. The complainant later called back and said the subject came back and paid for the hot tub. There was no further action required.
Fri., Mar. 20 – 10:46 p.m. – Members responded to a 911 complaint of a possible intoxicated driver in the Bentley area. A member made patrols but the subject was not located.
Sat., Mar. 21 – 2:47 a.m. – Members were dispatched to a complaint of a vehicle taken without consent in the Bentley area. In the meantime, the complainant spoke to the suspect and didn’t want to take any further action.
10:04 p.m. – Members received a complaint of an assault at the Sylvan Lake Arena. The complainant did not wish to press charges. The member advised that the suspect would be spoken to and questioned. Still under investigation.
Thurs., Mar. 26 – 9:28 a.m. – Members received a complaint of a vehicle passing a school bus when the red lights were activated. The registered owner of the offending vehicle was located and issued a ticket under the Traffic Safety Act.
Fri., Mar. 27 – 5:01 p.m. – Members were dispatched to a complaint of damage to a vehicle that had occurred overnight in Bentley. A beer bottle had been thrown through the window of the vehicle.
Sat., Mar. 28 – 8:18 a.m. – Members received a complaint of a license plate stolen from a vehicle in Bentley overnight. The license plate had been replaced by another plate that was registered to a vehicle that had been stolen from Red Deer. Still under investigation.
7:18 p.m. – Members received a complaint of a break and enter to an RV. Still under investigation.
Mon., Mar. 30 – 2:28 p.m. – Members received a 911 complaint of a truck losing fuel from a generator on the back on the Aspelund Road. A description of the vehicle was provided but a license plate number had not been obtained. Members requested that Red Deer Rural be on the look out for the vehicle as it was headed in their direction.
3:39 p.m. – Members responded to a complaint of dead sheep being dumped on a property on Range Road 25. Still under investigation.
Tues., Mar. 31 – 7:33 a.m. – Members received a 911 complaint of a vehicle traveling unsafely on Highway 20 near Bentley. A plate number was obtained. Still under investigation.
4:49 p.m. – Members responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver in Bentley. Patrols were made but the vehicle was not located.
Wed., Apr. 1 – 11:35 p.m. – Members responded to a complaint of a suspicious person in the Bentley area. Patrols were made but police were unable to locate the subject.
Fri., Apr. 3 – 1:45 a.m. – Members responded to a complaint of a bush party with intoxicated youths near Rainy Creek Road. On arrival, members found seven youths in the process of putting out a bonfire. None of the youths were underage, and there was a sober driver at the location. The group left the area when asked.
Wed., Apr. 8 – 6:28 p.m. – Members responded to a complaint of an impaired driver in Bentley. The caller reported that this driver had almost hit a building when parking. Patrols were made however the vehicle was not located.
