Two incumbents have held onto their Rimbey town council chairs in Monday's election.

Two incumbents have held onto their Rimbey town council chairs in Monday's election.

According to unofficial results, incumbent Jack Webb garnered 725 votes, followed by newcomer Einar Olsen with 665. Newcomer Mathew Jaycox was a close third with 648, followed by incumbent Paul Payson with 625.

Incumbent Gayle Rondeel captured 434 votes and David Karroll received 338.

Earlier, unofficial results saw Rick Pankiw win the mayor's race against incumbent Sheldon Ibbotson 528 to 446.
