The support is already building for Rimbey & District Victim Services’ biggest fundraiser of the year on Saturday, Feb. 13.

“Our annual Valentine Gala is a wonderful opportunity for Victim Services to get together with our supporters,” says Fran Osokin, Chairperson of Rimbey & District Victim Services Society.

“We are immensely thankful for the help of our community individuals, families and businesses,” says Osokin. “Valentine’s Day is about showing your heart, and our community is the true heart of Victim Services.”

“The people of Rimbey and area are amazing in their support of services to victims and their families, and their contributions also make it possible for us to do more public education,” says Patricia Jones, Client Services Manager, Rimbey & District Victim Services.

Tickets for the Valentine Gala are available at Stationary, Stories & Sounds, and include the dinner, silent and live auctions, and dancing to Alberta country music star, Tracy Millar.

Donations for the silent and live auctions are gratefully accepted and can be picked up with a call to Victim Services at 403-843-8494.

The Rimbey & District Victim Services Society is a non-profit association which assists the RCMP in providing support, information and referrals to victims of crime, tragic or traumatic circumstances, and disaster. Learn more about their services at or visit them on
