From the week of Aug. 17 to Aug. 23, Rimbey RCMP received 48 calls for service.

Of those calls for service, traffic violations were the highest at 11 calls.

On the roadways, officers responded to one traffic collision and four animal-involved collisions. They also responded to four suspicious persons or vehicles.

Off the roadways, officers responded to two animal calls, two uttering threats calls, one report of mischief, two break-and-enters, four thefts, two reports of stolen property, one call related to trespassing and one call of disturbing the peace.

In matters routine to policing, but which fall outside traffic or criminal-code, officers responded to three mental health related calls and one sudden death
