Weekly Rimbey RCMP report

Rimbey RCMP officers responded to 47 calls for service in the week of Aug. 30 to Sept. 6.

Of the calls, the highest was in assisting the general public, which was at 14 calls.

On the roadways officers responded to one traffic collision, two animal-involved collisions and one impaired driver. They also responded to one suspicious person or vehicle.

In criminal code matters, officers responded to five traffic violations, two uttering threats calls, one mischief call, one theft, two stolen property calls and two breaching or disturbing the peace calls.

For matters routine to policing, but not falling under Traffic or Criminal Code, officers responded to two animal-related calls, one lost-and-found-item, one mental health call and two well being checks.
