Weekly Rimbey RCMP report

Rimbey RCMP had a high number of calls, responding to 56 from July 27 to Aug. 3.

The highest number was 10 calls of traffic violations.

On the roadways, officers responded to one traffic collision, three animal-involved collisions, two impaired drivers or those who refused to comply with mandatory alcohol screening and two suspicious persons or vehicles.

For criminal code matters, officers responded to one assault, one uttering threats call, four mischief calls, two break-and-enters, two thefts, four fraud-related calls and two breaching or disturbing the peace calls.

In matters routine to policing, but which fall outside traffic or criminal-code, officers provided assistance to the general public seven times, two lost and found items, three mental health calls and three well-being checks.
