Weekly Rimbey RCMP report

From the period of Aug. 23 to Aug. 31, Rimbey RCMP responded to 50 calls for service.

The highest of those calls were 10 to assist the general public.

On the roadways, officers responded to two traffic collisions, two animal-involved collisions, six traffic violations and seven suspicious persons or vehicles.

For criminal code matters, officers responded to two calls of uttering threats, two break-and-enters, one theft, two calls of fraud, two breaching or disturbing the peace and one impaired driver.

For matters routine to policing, but not falling under Traffic or Criminal Code, officers responded to one animal call, three lost and found items, one mental health call and two well-being checks.
